I have said, as have many before me ~ that we take from the Bible what we take to the Bible.
As I opened my Bible ~ and my eyes fell on that portion of the page where the Jews were taking up stones to stone Him.
Many good works I have shown you ~ for which do you stone me, He (Jesus) said.
The Jews answered Him saying, "For a good work we stone thee not ~ but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."
Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law ~ I said ye are Gods?"
"If He called them gods ~ unto whom the word of God came ~ and the scriptures cannot be broken; say ye of Him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the World ~ Thou blasphemest; because I said I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father ~ believe me not ~ but if I do; though you believe me not ~ believe the works that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me and I in Him."
(Psalms 82: 6 ~ "I have said ye are gods ~ and all of you are sons of the most high."
If their scriptures were not to be broken ~ then how could they call Him a blasphemer because He claimed to be a Son of God? Did He not say ~ that they too could do even greater things than they saw Him do? (If they only believed.)
"If you can't believe me He said ~ then believe me because of my works" ~ (That they might believe that the Father ~ is the I within them as well.)
